As an olympic caliber powerlifter and lifetime fitness junkie, I can honestly say fitness has lost its way.

Youtube is polluted with bad information, people are charged outrageous fees, scams and fads have become rampant, trainers use cookie cutter routines and have become unqualified (you can become a personal trainer for $20.00 online), and spirituality has become non-existent in fitness. 

I will consider all aspects of your health (The Big 6) to create the best possible fitness routine that will get you to your goals so you can love the body God gave you.

All things good happen through God. Fitness is no different. So, before we start our fitness journey together, let's say a quick prayer!

Dear God,

thank you for blessing my life with a new friend who you've guided to this website. We ask that you guide us together along this fitness journey and give us the strength to stay consistent so that we may continue to honor the body you have given us.

 

Amen. 

There are many aspects of your life that can hold you back and prevent progress. Medications, current fitness level, sleep quality, previous disorders/injuries, stress (cortisol level), certain diets, and more can all impact your body's ability to burn fat and put on muscle.
 
For example: a person taking glucocorticoid medication (commonly prescribed) is not going to benefit from traditional 8-12 rep (myofibril damage)  mechanisms of muscle growth. Instead, a routine that stresses neurological adaptations should be used in conjunction with lactic acid building strategies. 
Holistic personal training considers all aspects of your health (The Big 6) to create the best possible fitness routine that will get you to your goals so you can love the body God gave you. 
Being active is just one piece of the wellness puzzle.  For optimal health & longevity you must pay attention to The Big Six (click below for more info).
