Every now and then, I just gotta have something sweet.
My mom has made lots of dry, grainy gluten-free cookies--that have ended up in the trash. After much experimentation, she finally came up with the perfect combination! Trust me, these taste awesome & are loaded with flax, chia, hemp, nuts, and healthy dark chocolate! And of course--no white flour or white sugar. You can use vegan alternatives for all ingredients (FYI: gelatin is not vegan; use nut yogurt or 1tbs flax seed & 3tbs water for egg substitute).
We make these in big batches, throw them in the deep freeze, and then simply thaw when we have the urge for a sweet treat.
